MEDFORD, MA (November 17, 2025) – After his first weekend with the Tufts University hockey team, junior
Ethan Ullrick has been awarded NESCAC Player of the Week following the Jumbos' 2-0 start.
A transfer from the Air Force Academy, Ullrick was the Jumbos' leading scorer with a goal and three assists for four points in the 4-1 victory against Wesleyan University on Friday night and the come-from-behind 5-2 win over Trinity College on Saturday afternoon.
Against Wesleyan, he finished with two assists, helping set up Tufts' first goal for a 1-0 lead and later helping on the tally that gave the Jumbos insurance with a 4-1 advantage. Against Trinity, Tufts came back with four third-period goals to erase a 2-1 deficit and win 5-2. Ullrick scored the go-ahead goal putting Tufts up 3-2, then assisted on the next goal which gave the Jumbos a 4-2 lead.
This is Tufts' first Player of the Week from NESCAC since
Tyler Sedlak was recognized on February 26, 2024.
Ullrick's four points tied for the most in the conference after the first weekend of play. His three assists overall are tied for second in NESCAC after two games.
The Jumbos have their first road trip of the season this weekend, traveling for games at Middlebury College on Friday night and at Williams College on Saturday afternoon.
