MEDFORD, MA (November 17, 2025) -- The Tufts University volleyball team, coming off its fourth New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) title this Saturday, will play host an 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament Regional this upcoming weekend, and will battle Bridgewater State University at 7 p.m. inside Cousens Gymnasium in the NCAA First Round. Tufts will also host East Texas Baptist University, Maine Maritime, Emory University, Springfield College, Kean University and Lasell University as well.
The Jumbos will be back in the NCAA Tournament after missing out on the dance last season, and will be hosting a regional for the first time since 2022. Tufts has played Bridgewater State twice prior to this weekend, going 2-0 against the Bears all-time.
ETBU comes into the weekend undefeated as the top seed in the NCAA Tournament, and will take on the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) champions in Maine Maritime in the second match of the day Thursday. In the opening match at 11:30 a.m. Springfield College, an at-large selection from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) will take on Emory University from the University Athletic Association (UAA).
The third match will feature New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) champions Kean University and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) title winners Lasell University will square off at 4:30 p.m. Tickets will be 12 dollars for adults for a single session, while a weekend pass will be $20. Seniors and students will be $10 for a single session and $15 for an all-session pass, while children 3-12 will be $7 or $12 for the weekend. Children under three are free for all sessions.
