MEDFORD, MA (November 25, 2025) – Three Tufts University cross country runners achieved All-American awards with their performances at the NCAA Division III Championship meet on November 22.
The top 40 individual finishers at Nationals earn All-American recognition. For Tufts, men's senior
Cullen McCaleb, women's senior
Liz Donahue and men's junior
Harris Gulbransen were officially announced as All-Americans by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association today.
McCaleb was 21st and Gulbransen placed 35th out of 291 total finishers to lead the men's team to a seventh-place finish at the NCAA meet that was the program's best since 2012. Donahue's 36th-place finish among 290 total runners in the women's race helped Tufts to a team finish of 11th, the best since 2021. The seventh- and 11th-place NCAA finishes marked the best combined performance by the Tufts cross country teams ever at the national meet.
The All-America recognition is the first for all three Jumbos. This marks the first time since 2016 that the men's team features two All-Americans. Donahue's award is notable due to her improvement at the NCAA race from 53rd place at the five-kilometer checkpoint to 38th at the finish line for the All-American award.
