Gyimesi earned his second-straight D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team honor on Tuesday afternoon, while Morakis was selected to his first regional award with D3hoops.com All-Region 1 Third Team laurels. Gyimesi was a NABC All-District honoree for the second straight year as well.

Gyimesi also picked up All-NESCAC First Team accolades for the second straight season, while classmate Morakis was selected to his first league award with a Second Team nod. The duo helped the Jumbos to an 8-2 record within conference play, while also leading Tufts to a 22-6 record on the season and a NCAA Tournament Second Round appearance.

The junior tallied 15.3 points per game, fifth in the conference, while his 9.9 rebounds per game was second in the NESCAC. His defensive rebounding numbers also topped the league's ledger with 7.3 per game.

Gyimesi also sat at the top spot in the league in field goal percentage with a 58.5 percent clip, ranking fifth in the NESCAC in assists per game with 3.1 as well. Gyimesi posted 14 double-doubles throughout the season.

Morakis was the team's leading scorer this season with 17.9 points per game, which was third-best in the NESCAC.  Not only did he fill it up offensively, but his 49.7 percent shooting was sixth-best in the NESCAC among qualified players. He posted 11 20-point games as well.

Morakis's top scoring output came in the NCAA Tournament Second Round, as he posted 36 points against Redlands, a career-high. The 36 points in a game was the second-highest scoring output in the NESCAC this season, and the most for a Jumbos player since 2017.
