PITTSFIELD, MA (April 26, 2025) - A photo finish in the first varsity race highlighted women's rowing action between Tufts University, host Williams College and Hamilton College on Lake Onota Saturday morning.
The Jumbos were edged by Williams in the 1V8, but were first in the second and third varsity races against the Ephs and Continentals. In the most recent Pocock CRCA Poll for Division III, Tufts was #2, Williams #5 and Hamilton #15. Conditions on the 2000-meter Lake Onota course today had a minimal cross tail wind building slightly for the 3V race, and rain for all races.
The first varsity race was as close as can be, with Williams recording a 6:51.35 time and Tufts at 6:51.59. Hamilton crossed the finish line third in 7:12.21. The Jumbo line-up was coxswain
