Against Amherst All-Time:
The Jumbos are faced with a tough opponent in the first round of postseason play as they take on No. 13 Amherst College. The Mammoths are an all-time 17-5 against the Jumbos including four wins in their most recent quartet of meetings. Amherst is ranked number four in the region, just ahead of the Jumbos' number five regional ranking. They are in search of their 10th NESCAC Championship title and their first since 2014.

A Look at the Jumbos (15-5, 6-4 NESCAC):
The Jumbos enter the NESCAC Tournament as winners of three of their last four matches. They kicked off the season with a nine match win streak and will look to rebound from a tough loss to Bowdoin in the regular season finale. They reached as high as the number seven ranking nationally this season, and will look to build off the momentum started in early spring.

First year Melanie Woodbury emerged as a lethal option at the number one position as the spring rolled on. She finished the regular season with a 15-10 record including a 9-5 record within the NESCAC. In the doubles, she played mostly from the number two position and finished the season with a 10-9 record. Her sister Stephanie Woodbury saw plenty of action at the number one doubles position. The junior ended the regular season with a 10-11 record and was partnered with sophomore Natalie Hu for most of the spring.

Hu finished the season with a 9-7 singles record and a 13-8 doubles record. She spent the entire season at the number one doubles position and took home a 9-7 record within NESCAC play. Junior Lucy Mitchell also split her efforts between the singles and doubles, finishing the season with a record of 10-4 in singles play and a 4-3 record in the doubles.

The Jumbos are in search of their first NESCAC Title in program history.

A Look at the NESCAC:
Middlebury enters the tournament as the number one seed following their 14-2 season. The Panthers are still in search of their first NESCAC title after finishing as runners-up in six of the last seven tournaments. They have won nine straight leading into the tournament, and went unbeaten in conference play.

The hosts Wesleyan are number two seed following their 16-2 regular season. Their only NESCAC loss came at the hands of Middlebury. The Bowdoin Polar Bears are the number three seed following a 14-4 record overall and a 8-2 record within the NESCAC.

Williams, Colby and Hamilton are the six, seven and eight seeds respectively, and will vie for the NESCAC Titles as road teams alongside the Jumbos.
