ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (May 20, 2025) - Poor conditions limited racing on the first day of the ICSA Women's Fleet Race National Championship Semifinals Tuesday in Maryland.
Tufts is one 18 teams in the Western Semifinal, in which only three races in A Division and two races for B Division were completed today.
The Jumbos are 12th out of 18 teams, with a 50 score overall. They were 11th twice and eighth in three A races, and 11th and ninth in the two B races. They will need to be in the top nine by the end of the Western Semifinal on Wednesday in order to advance to the finals which start on Thursday. Ninth-place Jacksonville University is not far ahead of Tufts with a 46 score through Tuesday.Â

Lilly Ladd for B's. The Jumbos are ninth in both A and B divisions.
Georgetown University is first at the Western Semifinal right now with a 12-5-17 scoring line.
Racing on Wednesday is slated to begin at 9:30 AM.
