MEDFORD, MA (August 18, 2025) -- The 2025 campaign for the Tufts University football squad starts in less than a month, but the Jumbos are already earning honors as standout senior guard
Jack Lynch was named to the D3football.com Preseason All-American list, as released Monday afternoon.
Lynch earns his first All-American honor after a strong junior campaign where he earned D3football.com All-Region 1 Second Team honors. Lynch was also named to the 2024 All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) First Team after helping the Jumbos to a 7-2 record. The Jumbos held the third best scoring offense, helped in large part by the efforts of Lynch, who helped the Jumbos earn the second best passing offense in the NESCAC, with 233.8 yards per game. The Jumbos offensive line also allowed the fewest sacks in the NESCAC with only eight.
Lynch is the second Tufts' guard to earn Preseason All-American honors in the last three seasons, as he joins Travis Cepalia and his First Team selection back in 2023. Jovan Nenadovic was also slotted in as a Third Team honoree back in 2019 at defensive end. Lynch was the only NESCAC player to be selected on the 2025 edition.
