Skouloudi 13th for Women's Sailing at New England Singlehanded Regatta Through Friday

CRANSTON, RI (September 12, 2025) - Tufts University junior Maria Skouloudi is in 13th place after one day at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Women's Singlehanded Championship at Brown University on Friday.

Once conditions improved enough for racing to start, four contests were held on Friday. Skouloudi had finishes of 13th, 11th, 14th and eighth. Her 46 score is 13th of 15 individuals at the event.

Harvard University senior Sophia Montgomery leads the competition with a score of eight through four races.

First warning for the second day of the Championship on Saturday is at 10:30 AM.
