WEST MEDFORD, MA (September 20, 2025) - Host Tufts University leads the Hood Trophy regatta which opened on Saturday out of Bacow Sailing Pavilion on Upper Mystic Lake.
Only two races in A and B divisions were completed on Saturday due to light wind and other unforecasted delays. The Jumbos 1 team leads the Hood Trophy with a 9 score, while the Jumbos 2 group is sixth with a score of 26. Eighteen total teams are competing.

Greta Klein won both of their races to lead A division thus far. The Jumbos 1 B group of junior skipper Devon Owen with first-year crew
Patricia Winssinger were fifth and second for a 7 score that is third in B's.
For Jumbos 2, the A team of senior skipper

Sarah Leary was sixth and eighth on Saturday for a 12 score that is sixth in A's. Junior skipper
Courtland Doyle and senior crew
Harrison Vose are sixth in B division for Jumbos 2 with a sixth and an eighth score (14).
