ENFIELD, NH (September 21, 2025) - The Tufts University women's sailing team placed a strong second out of 17 teams at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl hosted by Dartmouth College which finished on Sunday. The Jumbos were in fifth place following four races on Saturday and jumped three spots today to finish as runner-up.
The finish was the Jumbos' best in a major regular-season fleet racing regatta since a win at Boston University's President's Trophy in 2019.
Five races were held on Sunday for a two-day total of nine at the 27th Mrs. Hurst Bowl. Tufts finished with scores of 78 in A division and 44 in B division for a 122 final. Yale University won the regatta with a 48-49-97 scoring line.

Lilly Ladd were second with their 44 B score. Their second-place score in Sunday's next-to-last race was their best of the day.
For A division, Tufts had sophomore skipper

Eloise Goedkoop today. They were fourth in Sunday's second A race for their best showing today. Tufts was 11th for A's overall.
