ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (September 27, 2025) - The Tufts University women's sailing team sits third out of 17 teams after one day at the Atlantic Coast Championship (ACC) Round 1A.
The Jumbos are vying to finish among the top nine teams this weekend in order to qualify for the ACC finals in two weeks. They are off to a good start with their 49 team score through six races in both A and B divisions today.
Tufts is third in both A's and B's so far. They scored 25 in the six A races and 24 for B's. Overall they are behind only first-place Dartmouth College (43 team score) and second-place Georgetown University (48).

Eloise Goedkoop are Tufts' A squad. They won today's fourth A race and also had a pair of seconds.
In B's, first-year
Maddie Janzen skippered with senior crew
Lilly Ladd. They won Saturday's first B start and had three thirds over the rest of the day.
The first warning for Sunday's second day of racing at St. Mary's College is 9:30 AM.
