BRUNSWICK, MAINE (January 10, 2026) -- The Tufts University women's squash team won its third straight match Saturday afternoon, winning all but one match while rolling past host Bowdoin College 8-1 in action from Lubin Family Squash Center.
At the top position, senior
Vharsha Dinesh bounced back from a loss on Saturday to best Darcy Weber from Bowdoin 11-7, 11-5 and 11-3, snapping a three-match losing skid.
Junior
Maria Arseniev won the first two games, and fought off a rally by Eshika Tangri to earn a four-game win with scores of 11-2, 11-6, 4-11 and 11-6 at the No. 2 spot. Sophomore
Anika Goyal also cruised to a straight game win at the No. 3 position, as she topped Kira Gwadry 11-4, 11-6 and 11-8. It was the third straight win for Goyal.
At No. 4, junior
Chloe Bergam raced past Linley Grosman for her third straight victory, winning with scores of 11-8, 11-9 and 11-7. First-year
Sejal Virk had to battle for her win on Saturday, but shook off a comeback attempt from Clare Collins to win a 9-11, 11-4, 11-7, 2-11, 11-8 match at No. 5.
The No. 6 position saw sophomore
Indira Moshi play the longest match of the afternoon, as she was on court for nearly an hour while outlasting Amelie Matuch 13-15, 7-11, 11-4, 11-6 and 11-5 with a thrilling comeback.
Sophomore
Anika Parr was not troubled in her win at No. 7, allowing just 12 points in an 11-4, 11-3 and 11-5 win over Elizabeth Kennedy.
Junior
Sora Karanja was victorious was No. 9, winning 12-10, 11-5 and 11-6, and junior
Bridget Schutt picked up an 11-7, 11-9 and 11-7 win at No. 10.
Tufts will take on Amherst College Tuesday at home inside Tufts Squash Center at 2 p.m.
