MEDFORD, MA (February 17, 2026) -- The No. 11 Tufts University women's squash team battled top-ranked Harvard University on Tuesday evening at the Tufts Squash Center, dropping a 9-0 decision in a match-up that featured several tightly contested courts and strong individual efforts from the Jumbos.
Tufts (11-7) pushed the pace throughout the lineup against a Harvard squad that entered the night as the top-ranked squad in the nation. The Jumbos showed resilience in multiple positions, highlighted by a four-game battle at No. 4 where
Ella Hill captured the second game 11-7 and continued to apply pressure deep into rallies.
At No. 8,
Indira Moshi delivered one of the closest matches of the night, forcing extended play in both the second and third games before falling 15–13 and 12–10 in a tightly played three-game contest. At No. 1,
Vharsha Dinesh challenged Harvard's Caroline Fouts with competitive exchanges in each game, including an 11–8 third.
Tufts also saw determination at No. 7, where
Sejal Virk opened with an 11–6 game win and remained in contention before the match ended due to retirement.
In exhibition play, the Jumbos earned a highlight victory as
Anika Parr rallied for a four-game win, closing with a 14–12 final game to cap the evening on a positive note for the home side.
Tufts will now look forward to the CSA Team Championships in early March in Philadelphia at the Arlen Spector Squash Center.
