CRANSTON, RI (March 1, 2026) – The Tufts University women's sailing team got its spring season started today at the Harvard Team Race. The regatta was moved from Harvard University to Brown University to provide for better conditions.
A round-robin was contested with each team getting eight races in. The Jumbos split their four races for a 4-4 record that placed fourth out of nine teams in action. Tufts won a three-way tie-breaker against Harvard and Roger Williams University (total points scored when tied teams met) to take fourth place.
Tufts' victories today came against Brown's second team, Harvard, MIT and the University of Rhode Island. The Jumbos had a perfect 1-2-3 score in the race versus Harvard.

Brown's first team won the regatta with a 7-1 record, winning a head-to-head tie-breaker against Dartmouth College which also finished with a 7-1 mark.
