NEW LONDON, CT (March 14, 2026) – The Tufts University women's sailing team leads the Southern New England Team Race after Saturday's action.
All except one race of an opening round robin were completed today. Tufts had all seven of its starts and earned a 6-1 record. Yale with a 5-2 mark is second behind the Jumbos in the eight-team field.
Tufts' wins today were versus Bowdoin, Brown, MIT, Northeastern, Rhode Island and Yale. The Jumbos raced to a perfect 1-2-3 score against MIT. The Jumbos' lone defeat was against Roger Williams.
