Lachlan Ellis relieved Donato with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning after a stellar performance. Ellis was solid, producing three strikeouts in 1.1 innings of action with no earned runs allowed.
The Jumbos offense kept their foot on the gas as they poured on 12 more runs across the fifth and sixth innings to take a commanding 22-4 lead. Kamin, Pavlik, and Henshon all rounded the bases after going deep in that span. Kamin's grand slam was the first home run of his collegiate-career.
The home run barrage would continue for Tufts as

Three Jumbo batters finished with three or more hits on the day, Kamin (5-for-7), Pavlik (3-for-4), and Wong (4-for-5). The five home runs for Tufts mark the most deep balls in a game as a team since a 28-2 win over Brandeis on April 4, 2015.
