Simi Lawal was the conference's Track Athlete of the Week last week. Cumberland joins her in receiving the recognition after a pair of standout performances in the long jump and triple jump at home in the Tufts Spring Invitational April 10-11.
On Friday of last week, Cumberland won the triple jump at the meet out of 23 competitors with a distance of 12.14m (39'10"). The mark, her second-best ever outdoors in the event, currently ranks #2 in the nation for the 2026 season.

The back-to-back NCAA Indoor triple jump champion, Cumberland is NESCAC's Field Athlete of the Week for the second time. She was also awarded on April 22, 2025.
She is the Tufts program record-holder in both events for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
