NEW LONDON, CT (April 5, 2026) – The Tufts University women's sailing team moved up two spots to finish ninth out of 16 teams at the Emily Wick regatta which ended on Sunday.
Tufts was in 11th place after 10 races in A and B divisions were completed on Saturday. With good results on Sunday, particularly in B division, Tufts moved up to a final finish of ninth, with scores of 160 in A's and 96 in B's for a 256 team total.

Cici Priest had finishes of fourth, third, 10th and fourth. The Tufts pair placed seventh in B's for the weekend.
In A division, the Jumbos were 14th for the 14 races over two days. Their Sunday results included a fifth-place finish in the second-to-last A race of the day. The Tufts team was junior skipper

Bowdoin College won the 2026 Emily Wick with a 122 team score (50-72).
The Tufts women will host and compete for the Legler Trophy (New England Women's Team Race Championship) next weekend on Upper Mystic Lake.
