ENFIELD, NH (September 27, 2026) – With only one race finished all weekend, the Mrs. Hurst Bowl hosted by Dartmouth College on Mascoma Lake September 26-27 was not officially completed. Tufts Women's Sailing had two squads at the site.
Ironically, while southern New England experienced a nor'easter including strong winds on Saturday and Sunday, the regatta site saw plenty of rain but no wind. That lack of wind on both days resulted in only one A division race being finished on Saturday. The rest of Saturday and all of Sunday were canceled. At least three races in each division must be completed for a regatta to be official.
Tufts' Jumbos 2 team finished second out of 18 teams in the A race that was held on Saturday. The Jumbos 1 team was seventh in the race.
