Biography

2017 (Junior): In his third season as a starter in the defensive backfield, was sixth on team with 34 tackles, adding three fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and an interception…had the forced fumble and a fumble recovery to go with two PBU’s at Wesleyan…posted a fumble recovery and interception at Colby in 2017…also handled the team’s punting duties in 2017 and averaged 36 yards per kick…NESCAC’s Special Teams Player of the Week on October 1 after averaging 43.2 yards on five punts…was team’s Dr. James J. Ford Special Teams Co-Player of the Year for 2017.

2016 (Sophomore): Took the field in all eight games for the Jumbos during his sophomore season, as the Jumbos played to a 7-1 record and finished in second place in the NESCAC standings...recorded 33 tackles, which was the fifth most on the team...turned in four tackles in the Jumbos season-opening 17-14 win over Wesleyan under the lights...added a tacked to the 12-7 win over Bates and the 41-21 win over Bowdoin...picked up eight tackles in the Jumbos setback to Trinity...added seven tackles to a 27-10 win against Amherst...had a season-high ten tackles in the Jumbos 44-12 win over Colby....finished the season with two tackles against Middlebury as the Jumbos won 48-35...Academic All-NESCAC recipient for 2016.

2015 (Freshman):  Played all eight games for the Jumbos...recorded 37 tackles this season and also had an interception and a forced fumble...a personal season-high nine tackles came in the win over Bates...also forced a fumble in the Bates game...intercepted a pass against Amherst on Oct. 31.

Before Tufts: Played for Charlotte Catholic High School…was a two-time All-Conference selection…also wrestled and ran track and field…was a two-time All-Conference wrestler and a two-time state championship participant......was on the team that was the runner-up in the 4A State Championship for football..was a finalist for the Bronco Nagurski Award...was on the honor roll all four years of high school.

Personal: Son of Suzanne and Joe… is a triplet with brothers Joey (23) and Peter (23).
