2024 (Sophomore): Did not appear for the Jumbos

2023 (First-Year): The athletic and rangy middle-hitter had a solid campaign as she transitioned into the collegiate game, showing promise for the future...Lonergan got into six matches as a first-year player at Tufts, starting once while playing in nine sets...finished with seven kills on the season...tallied three blocks...had a career-high three kills on six swings in a win at Bates October 7...posted three assisted blocks and three aces against Babson October 20...Tufts finished the 2023 season 14-11 overall while making the NCAA Tournament as an at-large squad. 

PRIOR TO TUFTS: Was a standout on the court for Mount Saint Dominic Academy, playing all four seasons on the varsity squad...Super Essex Conference American Division Honorable Mention as a first-year, earning Super Essex Liberty Division First Team as a sophomore and junior...earned American Division First Team as a senior...NJSIAA First Team All Non-Public State as a junior, earning Second Team All-State as a junior as well...NJSIAA All Non-Public Third Team as a senior...had a career total of 825 kills, 217 blocks, 306 digs, 18 assists and 107 aces...2022 Super Essex Conference leader in kills (297) and blocks (79)...earned the Karen Fuccello Essex County Scholar Athlete Award as a senior...Siena Scholarship all four years...named as the Mount Saint Dominic Academy Lion's Paw Leadership Award honoree as a senior...co-captain during her final two seasons...also played for Digs Volleyball Club. 

PERSONAL: Parents Karen and Lawrence Lonergan...has two siblings, Chris and Katie...undeclared major...chose Tufts over Colby, Trinity and F&M "because it offered a collaborative environment with a tight-knit, driven community, all right outside of Boston. The most compelling factor was the coaches and team- immediately, when I connected with everyone, I knew that Tufts was the place for me. I am beyond excited to pursue my interests and the sport I love, all while apart of a great culture."
