Biography

2017 (Junior): The junior defender started all 16 games for the Jumbos as they went 11-5 overall and 8-2 in NESCAC play and fell in the NESCAC Quarterfinals to Bowdoin...she helped anchor a defense that recorded eight shutouts and a 0.80 goals against average...earned the NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year and was selected to the All-NESCAC First Team...was also selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-New England West Region First Team...recorded a team high three defensive saves including a game against Bowdoin on Oct 25 in which she tallied two. 

2016 (Sophomore): Earned a spot in the starting rotation during all 22 games heping the Jumbos finish with a 19-3 record, winning the program's first NESCAC Championship since 2009 and advancing to the NCAA Championship game where they fell in penalty strokes to Messiah...garnered Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-New England West Region Second Team recognition...helped lead the top-notch defensive unit, which recorded 14 shutouts in 22 games, including four in a row during the NCAA Division III Tournament and five straight, ranging from Sept. 17-27...the squad ranked No. 1 among all Division III institutions in the country in shutouts per game (0.64), while checking in at No. 2 in goals-against average (0.57), shutouts (14) and goals against (13).

2015 (Freshman): Played in six different games during her rookie campaign, helping the Jumbos defensively as the team compiled a 1.47 goals against average for the season…made her collegiate debut in a 3-0 loss to Babson…played in three of the Jumbos six shutouts during the season, a 3-0 blanking of Connecticut College, a 5-0 win over Gordon and a 5-0 downing of Bates.

Before Tufts: Played field hockey at the Wyoming Seminary…was on the team that won the state championship in 2013…was selected as the team MVP in 2014…won the coaches award for field hockey in 2013….was a Citizen’s Voice All-Star in 2013 and 2014…was a All-State second team selection in 2014 and was selected to the All-Academic team in 2014…won a full academic scholarship to the Wyoming Seminary…was on the dean’s list with high honors.

Personal: Daughter of Ralph and Carla…has one brother, James (23).
