2018 (Freshman): Gizzo was a member of the 2018-2019 varsity cross country team that competed in the NCAA Championship.

Before Tufts: Was on the cross country and track and field team at Seton Hall Prep...was on the First Team All-SEC cross country and track and field teams in 2017 and 2018...named the Essex County Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2017...was a First Team All-State selection for cross country in 2017...member of the National Honor Society...graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Personal: Son of John and Denise...has one sibling, Chris (19).
