Before Tufts: Ran cross country and indoor and outdoor track at Camden Hills Regional High School...was the 2011 Maine Cross Country Individual Class B State Champion...was a four-time Cross Country New England qualifier...was selected to teh All-New England Cross Country team in 2011 and 2012...finished in the top five at the cross country Maine State Championships all four years of high school...was a three-time Maine All-State cross country team selection...graduated in the top 10% of her class...was the president of her schools National Honor Society...won the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Award....won the President's Volunteer Service Award.

Personal: Daughter of Jeff Bowman and Heidi Hoeckel...has two siblings, Madelyn (19) and Audrey (15).
