Stanco of Women's Squash Competes in College Squash Association's Individual Championships

Sophomore Paget Stanco made her first appearance in the CSA's Individual Championships on Friday

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Tufts sophomore Paget Stanco (Rye, NY)  competed in the opening rounds of the College Squash Association's Individual Championships on Friday.  Stanco was the 11th seed in the Holleran division, but lost her opening match to Dori Rahbar of Brown.

With the loss Stanco dropped into the first round of the consolation bracket.  She then took on Emily Terry of St. Lawrence but was unable to win this match either.  With the loss, Stanco was eliminated from the tournament.

This was the first year Stanco competed in the individual championships.  She played in the number one position for the Jumbos for the majority of the 2013-14 season and was an All-NESCAC Second Team selection.
