SPRINGFIELD - Sophomore Brendan Koh shot 79 to lead the Tufts golf team at the Western New England Invitational played at Veterans Golf Course today. The Jumbos placed seventh out of 10 teams.
Tufts' four best scores totaled 335 strokes. The host Golden Eagles won the event with a 302 score. Par was 72 on the 6,433-yard course. A total of 48 players competed.
Koh's 79 tied for 17th individually. Freshman Owen Elliott was second for the Jumbos at 81. Classmate Ben Ruskin came in at 86 and senior David Carson shot 89 to round out the Tufts scoring.
This was the last tournament of the season for the Tufts golf team.
