WASHINGTON, DC - Sophomore Claire Davidson of the Tufts University women's squash team represented the Jumbos at the 2018 College Squash Association Individual Championships at George Washington University on Friday.
Seeded 12th in the Holleran Cup: B Division North, Davidson faced Penn's Julia Buchholz in the round of 16 to begin play Friday morning. Buchholz defeated Davidson 11-7, 11-2, 11-4 to advance to the quarterfinals.
The loss dropped Davidson into an eight-player consolation bracket. There she played Cornell's Lucy Martin on Friday afternoon and lost 12-10, 11-6, 11-8.
This is the last event on the 2017-18 Jumbo women's squash schedule.
