Doolan Hits NCAA B Mark at Women's Swimming & Diving February Invite on Sunday

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Four members of the Tufts University women's swimming and diving team competed at the February Invite hosted by Middlebury College this afternoon.

The Jumbos were attempting to post NCAA qualifying marks in their event. Freshman Hannah Spencer swam in the 50 freestyle, freshman Emma Donchi competed in the 100 backstroke, sophomore Jackie Crater was in the 200 backstroke and senior Colleen Doolan did the 200 butterfly.

Doolan was the only Tufts swimmer to hit an NCAA B-cut mark as she touched in a season-best 2:05.69 for the 200 fly. The national qualifying B standard is a 2:05.85 time.

Spencer had a 24.17 in the 50 free, Donchi finished in 57.87 for the 100 back and Crater posted a 2:05.38 for the 200 back.
