Golf 15th at Duke Nelson Tournament After Saturday Round

MIDDLEBURY, VT - The Tufts University golf team sits 15th out of 24 teams following one day of play at Middlebury College's annual Duke Nelson Invitational.

The Jumbos' four best scores today totaled to 319 strokes. Host Middlebury leads after 18 holes with a 293 team total.

Played at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus, 78's by Travis Clauson and Holden Kittelberger led Tufts on Saturday. Kittelberger played the front nine in one over.

Toby Rudolph (79) and Kemp Bassett (84) also scored for Tufts. Eric Lancellotti was the fifth Jumbo, shooting 86.

Four players shot 71 to tie for the medalist lead following one round.

Action continues on Sunday starting at 9 am.
