Sydney Ho and first-year
Malia Leung competed in the three-meter event at the NCAA Diving Regional hosted by NYU on Friday afternoon.
Leung, competing in her first-ever Diving Regional, placed 14th out of the 24 overall competitors. She totaled a 375.30 score for 11 dives. Making her second Regional appearance, Ho was 19th today with a 357.15 score.
Host NYU's Issara Schmidt won the event with a 435.20 score.
In her final dive of the day, Leung competed a Back 1 1/2 Somersault 1 1/2 Twist Free for a 39.60 score, her best score among six optional dives. Ho's top optional dive was a Forward 2 1/2 Somersault Pike for a 38.40 score.
The Jumbo duo will compete again tomorrow in the one-meter event at the NCAA Regional, beginning at 2:30 PM.
