PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 4, 2023) -- The pairing of
Riddhi Joshi and
Kate Chang won their first and only match of the day Saturday at the 2023 College Squash Association (CSA) Doubles Championships, moving into the semifinals draw of the women's open division.
Chang and Joshi knocked off Whitney Finney and Doxey Loupassi of Dickinson College 12-10, 4-11, 11-8 and 11-7 in their first match of the tournament after receiving a bye Friday. The pair will now take on Esha Lakhotia and Katherine Dowling of Brown University Sunday at 9:00 a.m. for a spot in the finals at noon Sunday.
In individual action,
Vharsha Dinesh was forced to retire in her match against Abhisheka David of St. Lawrence University in the consolation bracket of the women's Holleran East bracket.
