BRUNSWICK, ME (September 23, 2023) – The Tufts golf team is ninth out of 22 teams after one day on Saturday at the Bowdoin Invitational. The tournament is being played at the par 72 Brunswick Golf Club.
Tufts' 302 score among its best four golfers is two strokes behind Husson University and Endicott, who both had a 300 team score. Trinity College leads the tournament at 291.
The Jumbos were led by
Reed Bodley, who shot a one-over 73 for the day.
Nick McCabe was the second scoring Jumbo at 75 (+3). The third Jumbo scorer was
Jack Meehan at 76 (+4) and Holden Kittenberger shot 78 (+6). Also golfing for Tufts was Colin O'Holleran, who came in with an 81.
Day two tomorrow begins at 9:00 AM.
