GREENSBORO, NC (March 22, 2024) – For the third year in a row, junior
Lara Wujciak of the Tufts University women's swimming & diving team won an All-American award in the 200 butterfly at the NCAA Championship meet to lead the Jumbos on the third day of the national championship Friday.
Wujciak swam an honorable mention time of 2:05.13 for 15th place in tonight's consolation final. She had timed 2:04.22 for 13th in the preliminaries this morning to get to tonight's finals. Sophomore
Jade Foltenyi was also 30th in the 200 fly preliminaries today (2:06.23).

Jillian Cudney had a 7:30.21 mark that was second in the heat. In a timed final, they ended up a strong ninth overall in the event for an honorable mention All-American finish.

Adam Hoyt's Jumbos remain in the top 10 for team scoring in 10th place with 84.5 points through three days at the national championship.
Wheeler just missed qualifying for the consolation final in the 100 breaststroke with her 1:03.48 mark in the preliminaries this morning. She was 17th, just 0.10 out of the top 16 where she needed to be.
For the 100 backstroke, three Jumbos qualified with sophomore
Maddie Hagberg posting the top national finish of 25th with her 57.31 time in the morning preliminaries. First-year
Elena Harrison was right behind Hagberg in 26th with her 57.35 mark. Senior
Elise Fong finished in 58.67 seconds for 40th place.
Today's All-American honor with the 800 free relay is Cudney's fourth of the meet and the 11th in her career. Wheeler earned her fifth career All-American award, and Dunn her fourth. It was the first for Tuncay.
On the final day of the championship meet tomorrow, the Jumbos will be in the 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, three-meter diving, 1650 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay.
