MIDDLEBURY, VT (September 15, 2024) - The Tufts University men's golf team finished their first tournament of the season in seventh place at the Duke Nelson Invitational in Middlebury, Vt on Sunday.

After two days of play the Jumbos finished a combined 40 strokes over par. Trinity (Conn.) barely edged out the Jumbos with 39 strokes over par. Endicott also managed to place above the Jumbos, improving their score from day one to finish 38 over.
Sophomore
JP Noone had the highest finish for Tufts, placing 13th individually with a score of seven over par. Noone had a stellar day two of the tournament, finishing only two strokes above par.
Junior
Holden Kittelberger finished next best for Tufts, placing 18th overall, with a score of eight over par. He also improved on day two, finishing the second 18 just three over par.Â
Sophomore
Nick McCabe finished 40th overall with a score of 12 over. Senior
Eric Lancellotti trailed McCabe by a stroke. Junior
Reed Bodley finished 90th overall.
The Jumbos will hit the links this coming weekend for the Williams College Invitational starting on Saturday, September 21 at the Taconic Golf Course. Tee off is at 9:00 AM.
