MIDDLEBURY, VT (February 20, 2025) - The Tufts University men's swimming & diving team was the runner-up in the 800 freestyle relay as the 2025 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships got started tonight at Middlebury College.

Eric Lundgren combined on a 6:35.74 time for second place. The mark was within the NCAA B mark of 6:40.49. Williams College won the race in a 6:31.93 finish.
The Jumbo B relay was also second in its race tonight for 13th place overall. The team of freshman

Armaan Sikka recorded a 6:43.87 mark.
The two relays scored 78 team points for Tufts tonight, which sits second behind Williams (90). Connecticut College is in third place with a 74 score.
Day two of the Championship tomorrow begins with preliminaries at 10 AM and then the evening finals at 6 PM. Events will be contested in th 50 breaststroke, 50 butterfly, 500 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle, one-meter diving 200 freestyle relay and the 400 medley relay.
