GREENSBORO, NC (March 19, 2025) – The Tufts University 400 medley relay capped a good opening day for the Jumbos at the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming & Diving Championships with an All-American sixth-place finish on Wednesday.

Soeren Euvrard put together a 3:13.46 time in the finals as Tufts placed sixth in the event at the national meet for the third straight year. Lundgren's 47.28 lead-off leg in the 100 backstroke tied his school record in the event.
Earlier in the day, Lundgren had borken his own school record in the 200 individual medley. He swam 1:48.33 in the morning preliminaries, improving upon his previous school mark of 1:48.92. On Wednesday night he was 15th in the 200 IM final (1:49.31), up 20 spots from his #35 seed entering the meet. With his two All-American finishes today, Lundgren now has 14 in his Tufts career.
Euvrard also posted a pair of All-American races today. He added a 14th-place showing in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.19 seconds. He's now a nine-time All-American.
Tufts also had freshman
Ron Lyubman competing at his first NCAA meet. He swam 4:32.19 for 21st place in the 500 freestyle.
Tufts totaled 31 team points on Wednesday and is tied for 12th place in the team standings with RIT.
On Thursday the Tufts men will swim in the 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay events at the NCAA Championships.
