GREENSBORO, NC (March 20, 2025) – The 200 freestyle relay earned an Honorable Mention All-American award as the Tufts University men's swimming & diving team competed on the second day of the NCAA Championships Thursday.
In the final event Thursday evening, the foursome of sophomore
Will Kaminski, senior
Emmett Adams, first-year
Campbell McFall and senior
Soeren Euvrard combined on a 1:20.39 time that was 10th overall. It's the seventh NCAA meet in a row that Tufts has had an All-American finish in the event. The result was a balance of strong efforts from young team members and veterans. Adams and Euvrard earned their 10th career All-American awards while Kaminski and McFall each picked up their first.
With the 14 points scored by the 200 free relay's 10th-place finish, Tufts now has 45 total team points at the NCAA meet for 15th place through two days.
The Jumbos also had a pair entered in the 100 butterfly today. In the morning trials, senior
Ethan Schreier swam 48.73 for 26th place and junior
Armaan Sikka was 28th with a 48.80 time. Freshman
Ron Lyubman represented the Jumbos in the 200 freestyle, where he was 27th in the trials with a time of 1:39.54.
On Friday the Jumbos will have swimmers in the 200 medley relay, 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 800 freestyle relay.
