Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Dr. Tim Brown Invitational

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (April 13, 2025) - The Tufts University men's golf team wrapped up the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational over in upstate New York with a 10th place finish on Sunday.

Leading the way for the Jumbos on day two was Reed Bodley. The junior improved his standing in the individual competition, finishing round two with the same score as round one; a single stroke over par. It was a much more even day for Bodley on Sunday, with three birdies cancelled out by a pair of bogies and a double-bogey. He finishes the competition in a team-leading 15th place with a total score of two strokes over par.

Sophomore Brendan Roy was a stroke behind Bodley once again. A rough start to the front nine was quickly reversed with birdies on holes seven and nine. The back nine saw more of the same, with the sophomore stacking up birdies on holes 10, 11, and 13. He finished the day two strokes over par, for a total score of five over par and 29th place individually.

Sophomore Keegan Carnell finished 55th overall for the Jumbos. His round two score was four strokes over par, and his day was highlighted by birdies on holes seven and 12. A few bogies held him back, and his overall score fell to nine over par.

JP Noone saw the greatest improvement in day two, bouncing back after a forgettable round one. He played a fantastic front nine, matching par through seven holes and capping off his start with birdies on holes eight and nine. The back nine was not the same, as six bogies would see his score fall to four strokes over par. His overall score improved to 13 over par, and he finished in 76th overall.

Junior Holden Kittleberger rounded out the day for Tufts with a round two score of seven strokes over par. His overall score fell to nine over par after managing only a single birdie on hole nine. He finished in 55th place tied with Carnell.

Tufts will have the week off as they get ready to head out west to the Williams College Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 19th in Williamstown.
