WILLIAMSTOWN, MA (April 26, 2025) - The Tufts University men's golf team ended round two of the New England Small College Athlete Conference in ninth place following the second day of competition in Williamstown, Mass.
The Jumbos were led by
Holden Kittelberger, bouncing back well after a tough round one. The junior battled through several bogies to earn a birdie on hole eight before playing a largely even back nine to finish round two seven strokes over par. His combined score sits at +16, and he holds the 36th spot individually.
Sophomore
JP Noone hit for eight over par on day two, falling to 23rd place. A pair of double bogies on the front nine and three more across the back saw him fall a few spots after a strong showing on day one. He carries a combined score of +10 into round three.
Sophomore
Brendan Roy finished round two at nine over par. His day was highlighted by a birdie on hole eight, but he was ultimately held back to 28th place and a combined 13 over par.
Eric Lancellotti holds the final scoring position for Tufts after round two. The senior finished the day 15 strokes over par for a combined score of +21 and 43rd place.
Junior
Reed Bodley also competed for the Jumbos, hitting 15 over par as well and falling to 45th place with a +23 combined score.
Tufts will conclude the NESCAC Championship tomorrow at 9:00 am in Willamstown.
