MEDFORD, MA (July 9, 2025) -- The Tufts University men's lacrosse team was honored for its work in the classroom recently with the release of the 2025 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-Americans list, being honored with a nation-best seven student-athletes.
Fifth-year
Conner Garzone was joined on the list by seniors
Joey Waldbaum,
Parker Merrill,
Charlie Tagliaferri,
Michael Ayers,
Max Ettinghausen and
Cam Delcristo for their work both on the field and in the books over their stellar careers which ended four New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) titles and two NCAA crowns over the last five seasons.
A Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale).
He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.
Please note that simply being a member of the North/South team and/or being All League/Conference does not make the Student-Athlete a lock for the award. Each Individual will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the Scholar AA committee.
The Jumbos are coming off a perfect 2025 campaign with a school-record 23 victories, finishing with the team's fifth NCAA title with a win over Dickinson College in the national championship contest.
