MEDFORD, MA (January 28, 2026) -- Senior attack
Jack Regnery was named as the Division III Preseason Player of the Year Wednesday morning by USA Lacrosse Magazine, while six total Jumbo men's lacrosse players were tabbed as USA Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans with release Tuesday afternoon.
Regnery, who was the 2025 Division III Player of the Year in leading the Tufts University men's lacrosse team to an unblemished 23-0 record and a second consecutive NCAA title, comes into the second with 188 career goals including 78 last year as a junior. He was a consensus First Team All-American, while also earning New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year laurels.
Regnery was joined on the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason First Team by classmates
Garrett Kelly and
Ben Frisoli, as the senior trio will be the leaders for what should be another strong Jumbos squad. Kelly finished with 41 goals as a junior, adding 16 assists in a strong 2025 campaign. Frisoli was a standout at the long stick midfield spot, tallying 13 goals and handing out six assists while picking up 36 ground balls and causing 20 turnovers a season ago.

The Jumbos open their season February 28 at home, taking on Colby College in NESCAC action at 12 p.m. on Bello Field.
