WILLIAMSTOWN, MA (September 21, 2025) - The Tufts University men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Williams College Fall Invitational on Sunday, taking fifth place in the three round competition.
Sunday's proceedings saw round three played on the Taconic Golf Course in Williamstown. Leading the way for the Jumbos through their third time around the links was
Brendan Roy. The junior kicked off the round with a birdie on hole one. He added another birdie on hole seven, but four bogies would see his score drift to two strokes over par. The Junior finished with a combined score of four strokes over par for fifth place individually.
Senior
Holden Kittelberger finished round three just a stroke behind Roy, taking home a birdie on hole six. Four bogies of his own saw him drift to three strokes above par, pushing him to 19th place individually.
Junior
Nick McCabe had a quieter Sunday as he finished four strokes above par. He finished the meet with a combined score of eight above par for 13th place individually. Fellow junior
JP Noone had a solid start to his third round with a birdie on hole one, but eight bogies saw him finish 30th overall with a +13 combined score.
First year
Jason Zawtocki was the last Jumbo to compete in round three, finishing the round 10 strokes over par. The rookie's day was highlighted by a birdie on hole 14.
The Jumbos will keep the fall slate going next weekend as they head up north to the Brunswick Golf Club for the Bowdoin College Invitational beginning on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
