Holden Kittelberger Named to PING All-Region I Team

MEDFORD, MA (May 11, 2026) – The Tufts University men's golf team notches another postseason honor, as senior Holden Kittelberger has been named to the PING All-Region I Team for his standout performances this season.

The Jumbos captured two runner-up finishes this season as a team, with a fall second place finish in the Hamilton College Invitational and fell just short of a conference title in the NESCAC Championships. Tufts is ranked as the number four team in the region.

Kittelberger served as a key leader on this team and headlined the Jumbos with four top 10 individual placements. In the fall, the Texas native ranked sixth in the Bowdoin Invitational with a one over par total across the 36 hole tournament. The senior tied for fourth in the three round Swarthmore College Invitational to open the spring session with an eight over par score. In the NESCAC Championships, Kittelberger closed out the season with a tied for fifth place ranking to help the Jumbos capture that runner-up finish.

Kittelberger ended the year ranked 14th in the region and 215th nationally, leading the Jumbos in both categories. He held and adjusted scoring average of 73.5 and paced Tufts with an average weighted points mark of 26.93.

The All-Region I Team selection is the first of Kittelberger's career as a Jumbo. His absence will be felt next season, but his impact has set the squad up for success in the future as Tufts will regroup and look to come back stronger next season.
