2018 (Junior): Played in seven games for the Jumbos in a reserve role on the defensive line… registered a tackle in six of seven games played, including 1.5 total tackles for a loss… assisted in a season-high two tackles in loss to Amherst.

2017 (Sophomore): Played a back-up role behind a veteran defensive line…finished the year with three tackles…had a solo tackle against Trinity and two assists in the Bates game.

2016 (Freshman): Saw time in three games during his rookie campaign as the Jumbos finished with a 7-1 record and in second place in the NESCAC standings...made his collegiate debut in the Jumbos 41-21 win over Bowdoin and picked up a tackel for a two-yard loss...added a tackle to the Jumbos 35-16 win over Williams...also played in the setback to Trinity.

Before Tufts: Was on the football, wrestling and lacrosse teams at Episcopal School of Jacksonville...was the award winner of his high school's Bset All Around Athlete award...was twice named the MVP of the wrestling team...was named to the All-First Coast First team...was the state runner-up as a 285 lb wrestler...was the winner of a Probability and Statistics Award at his high school.

Personal: Son of Laura Phelps and Brett Chepenik...has three siblings, Grace (21), Stela (18) and Sofia (14)....father, Brett, wrestled at DePauw.
