2023 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games for the Jumbos...Made his collegiate debut against Bates on September 23...Recorded four solo tackles five assisted tackles for nine total tackles...Recorded three total tackles against Wesleyan on October 14...The Jumbos finished the season 6-3, with a third place finish in the NESCAC.

PRIOR TO TUFTS: Competed in football and track and field for the Dons of Aragon HS in San Mateo, CA...co-captain for the football squad as a sophomore, junior and senior...Team MVP as a senior...named First Team All-League as a junior and senior...League MVP as a senior...also ran the 100 meters, throwing the shot and discus and doing the long jump in track and field. 

PERSONAL: Parents Nizam and Emette Walter...has one sibling, Nyela...father Nizam played football at Vanderbilt University...majoring in electrical engineering...chose Tufts "because of the community and the academic prestige. Throughout all my interactions with students and staff, I found everyone to be very welcoming and accepting of me and my want to pursue an academic and athletic career. In addition, its proximity to downtown Boston as well as many other colleges and universities made Tufts my unanimous first choice."
