Biography

2018 (Junior): USILA honorable mention All-American...with 61 goals in 20 games, Connelly was ranked in the national top 40 with his 3.05 goals per contest...second in NESCAC in goals...key player in Tufts' sensational man-up attack, which ranked second in the nation with a .545 success rate...scored eight of his goals with Tufts on the man-advantage...third team All-New England pick...added 21 assists to finish the year with 82 points...named to USILA DIII Team of the Week on March 13...scored four goals in NESCAC Championship game, won by Tufts 12-9 against eventual national champion Wesleyan...Inside Lacrosse pre-season All-American.

2017 (Sophomore): Played in all 19 games for the Jumbos, tallying 30 goals and 17 assists for 47 points on the season....had multiple points in 14 of the 19 games he played....including three goals and an assist in a 16-13 win over Middlebury on March 10....had two goals and two assists in a tight 12-11 victory over Bowdoin on April 29...was a Second Team All-NESCAC selection, a Second Team All-NEILA selection, and an All-American Honorable Mention.

2016 (Freshman): Played in 7 games as a freshman as the team finished 20-3, won the NESCAC Tournament, and made it to the NCAA Tournament Championship...recorded his first career goal in a 25-5 win over Emmanuel on May 11. 

Before Tufts: Was on the basketball and lacrosse team at New Trier High School...was a First Team All-State selection for lacrosse in 2014 and 2015...was a US Lacrosse All-American in 2014 and 2015...was on the team that won the state championship in lacrosse in 2014 and 2015...was on the honor roll every semester of high school...was a member of the Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Son of David and Nancy...has three siblings, Avery (30), Max (28) and Jack (24)...brother, Max, is a Special Olympics Gold Medalist...brother, Jack, was on the Johns Hopkins lacrosse team.
