Jumbo Men's Basketball Secures Second NESCAC Win at Connecticut College, 66-51

NEW LONDON, CT - Hunter Sabety poured in a game-high 18 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Tufts University men's basketball team to a 66-51 victory against Connecticut College Friday night.

Sabety was 8-for-14 from the field for the Jumbos, who improve their record to 10-8 with a 2-3 mark in the NESCAC. The Camels fall to 8-9 with a 1-4 record in conference action.

Stephen Haladyna chipped in with 14 points and five boards for the visitors while Oliver Cohen reached double-digits with 10 points for the winning side, shooting 3-for-4 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 at the charity stripe.

Zuri Pavlin finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds for Connecticut College. Bo McKinley, Matt Vadas and Mason Lopez all finished with nine points for the hosts.

Tufts carried a 36-27 advantage into the break and built a 64-44 advantage in the second half en route to the conference triumph.
