Box Score 2 MEDFORD, Mass. – The Tufts University baseball team accumulated a total of 34 runs in their double-header against Colby on Saturday at Huskins Field. They won game one 14-1 and game two 20-6.

The Jumbos (15-10, 6-3 NESCAC) put on a display of power, hitting five home runs over the two games. Nick Falkson and Malcolm Nachmanoff both had homers in game one, Nachmanoff's a solo shot and Falkson smashing a grand slam. Falkson hit another in game two along with Harrison Frickman and Tommy O'Hara, who had two.
In game one, Nachmanoff's home run got the scoring started for Tufts in the second inning. They added to their lead in the second with RBI singles from both Falkson and Casey Santos-Ocampo.
Falkson hit his grand slam in the fourth, driving in O'Hara, Eric Schnepf, and Will Shackelford. The fourth inning ended up being an eight-run frame for the Jumbos as John Moschella, Schackelford, and Schnepf all got up a second time and drove runs home. They ended the fourth up, 12-0.
The Jumbos tacked on two more runs in the fifth and Brent Greeley finished up the game on the mound going the full seven innings and allowing only one earned run and four hits. He improved to 5-1 on the year.
Colby score their lone run of game one on a wild pitch in the sixth inning that got Andrew Russell across the plate.
Tufts picked up where they left off in the first inning of game two, scoring six runs in the frame. The inning was highlighted by Nachmanoff's triple that scored Falkson. Falkson, Santos-Ocampo, Shackelford, and Frickman all recorded RBIs in the inning.
The Mules got two runs on the board in the third when Matt Treveloni doubled, pushing Andrew Russell and Ryan Hecht across.
The Jumbos put the game out of reach in the fourth with homers by O'Hara and Frickman. O'Hara hit his second home run in the fifth and Falkson followed suit in the sixth.
Tufts would score their 20th run of the game in the seventh when Harrison O'Brien crossed the plate on a Colby throwing error.
The Mules would get a few back in the ninth, but it was too little, too late as the game would end with the Jumbos up by 14.
Spencer Langdon went seven innings for Tufts allowing just two runs and five hits, while striking out four.
The games would complete a series sweep of the Mules after having won a game on Friday as well, 22-7.
Tufts will be back on the diamond tomorrow for one rescheduled game against UMass Dartmouth. Colby will travel to Emerson tomorrow as well.
