Svoboda Wins Long Jump at TCNJ Invitational

EWING, N.J. - Junior Drew Svoboda of the Tufts men's outdoor track & field team competed at the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday. He was the lone Jumbo the meet.

Svoboda won the long jump out of 17 contestants with a 23'11" (7.29m) mark on his very first attempt. The distance is a PR for Svoboda and ranks fifth nationally for the event.

He was also entered in the high jump competition. After passing at the first five heights, he missed on each of his three attempts at 6'2 3/4" (1.90m).
